You have an event coming up. Should you rent equipment or not? What type of equipment should you have to make your event successful? Following are some of your most commonly asked questions. If your question is not answered or you need more information, give us a call.

What kind of equipment do you carry?

We carry all sizes and styles of tents — pole, frame, clear frame, sailcloth, band shells, and more — plus stages, dance floors, tables, chairs, lighting, decorations, grills, heaters, and fans.

How far will you travel?

In cooperation with our friends at Rain or Shine, we will set up events all over New England and much of New York state. Call us for more information.

What makes you different from a large rental chain?

For starters, we have an experienced, well-trained staff. Our equipment is top of the line and in great condition. Plus, we’re flexible and more willing to try new things. We depend on word-of-mouth referrals and customer satisfaction is our top priority.

We’re planning an event but we’re not sure what we need to do. Can you help us?

How far in advance do I need to reserve equipment?

Equipment is reserved on a first come, first served basis, so as soon as you have your date, we recommend making a reservation. Rentals are guaranteed with a 25% deposit, credit card number with a signed credit card authorization form, and signed contract. Orders can still be changed after the deposit is paid and the contract is signed.

How should I prepare my equipment for pick-up?

To facilitate pick-up, we ask that everything be stacked the way it was for delivery and that all non-rented items be removed from the tent.

Does the price include installation?

All prices include installation except tables and chairs. Call us if you need more information.

What size tent do I need?

That depends on the kind of event you’re having (for example — a sit down dinner, dancing, cocktails, etc.), the number of guests, and the size of the space. We offer tents of all shapes and sizes so just call us and we’ll help you get the right size for your space and your needs.

Rental Terms

Do you require a deposit?

We require a 25% deposit, credit card number with a signed credit card authorization form, and signed contract to secure all rentals.  We accept checks and most major credit cards for payment.
Rentals will not be guaranteed unless these conditions are met.
Final payment is due before delivery.

What if I have to cancel my event?

If your event is cancelled, you will forfeit the deposit.

Is there a delivery fee?

Yes. The delivery fee is based on mileage and includes installation at the site.

Pole Tents vs. Frame Tents

Pole tents are raised by tension (requiring stakes), supported by side poles and center poles, & available in white. Staking requires an extra 5 feet on each side.

Frame tents can either be staked into the ground or anchored down with weights, not into the ground, when staking is not practical. This flexibility enables them to be placed on existing structures like patios, decks, blacktop, or event right next to a building for additional indoor space.

Frame tents are free-standing structures, with adjustable legs and can be installed in tight places.
